Key improvement
The company has created a dedicated parking bay for delivery vehicles, with an area for unloading. This ensures delivery vehicles are off the road completely during the loading and unloading process.
Other improvements
A dedicated area has now been set aside for the storage of skips, road markings also instruct staff to keep the area clear. Flood lighting has also added above the area, to make delivery drivers more visible while they are working.
Benefits
Improving the loading and unloading facilities makes this whole process much more efficient as well as safer. The truck being closer to the bay has allowed the installation of a garment handling system improving this still further.
