• Forest machine operator:
  Everyone who operates forest machines should take a practical assessment and gain qualifications to use the machines safely.
• First aider:
  There should be enough trained first aiders and facilities on site to help casualties of illness or injury immediately
• Planter:
  If you plant trees, you must minimise the risk of injury and ill health to yourself and your colleagues when using manual tools for tree-planting.
• Sprayer:
  Pesticides can cause skin and respiratory problems. If you spray pesticides you must be trained and competent to do the work.
• Quad bike rider:
  Everyone who uses a quad bike (a sit-astride all terrain vehicle) must receive appropriate training to operate the machine safely and do the tasks required.
