Research
Our research objectives are to:
- identify causes, trends and industry/sector issues associated with reported slip and trip injuries;
- determine levels of baseline knowledge, awareness, attitudes and compliance among key stakeholders, and to track changes;
- improve knowledge of the causative factors influencing slips and trips;
- develop reliable and reproducible slip resistance measurement techniques for flooring and footwear that correlate to the causative factors identified above;
- evaluate the impact of the Programme and its outputs (such as the HSE/HSL Slips Assessment Tool)
