COSHH e-tool

The COSHH e-tool will be discontinued on 31 January 2025.

Please ensure you complete all assessments beforehand, as you will no longer be able to access the tool after this date. The COSHH Essentials direct advice sheets[26] however, will continue to be available online.

Easy steps to control health risks from chemicals

COSHH Essentials provides advice on controlling the use of chemicals for a range of common tasks, eg mixing, or drying.

For most tasks this website will take you through a number of steps and ask for information about your tasks and chemicals. This assessment will take several minutes to complete.

But for some processes, tasks or services you can now get direct advice[27].
