HSE Statistics User Engagement report 2018

This report is available via the National Archives and provides a summary of the findings from two surveys that were conducted in 2016 (exploring user personas) and 2017 (assessing improvements to booklet and tables).

Statistics User Conference – January 2014

On the 21st January 2014 HSE ran a statistics user conference at Redgrave Court, attended primarily by external users of HSE's published statistics, as well as HSE's senior statisticians.

The aim of the conference was to allow users to meet with data source leads to find out more about the information currently available, as well as to provide HSE with the opportunity to engage directly with its external customers.

Public consultation on statistics priorities - February to April 2011

Between 28 February and 11 April 2011, HSE ran a consultation on our website about statistics priorities. This report summarises the responses received and the subsequent action that has been taken:

Ill health workshop - February 2009

HSE convened an expert workshop on measuring work-related ill health in February 2009. The report of proceedings (available via the National Archives) concluded that HSE should identify preferred data sources for different categories of work-related illness, taking into account the available sources differing strengths and weaknesses. The workshop has led to several pieces of research being undertaken which have been designed to inform the choice of preferred sources.
