Straight Line Edger

Used to machine a rough-edged board, ie where the bark, of variable thickness, is still on. Boards are power fed into a circular saw that is set between two sets of rollers. The main risk is from ejected off cuts (rippings) and kick backs. Therefore additional guarding is essential at the take off end and anti- kick back features are fitted.
