Details

The current version of the draft guidance (version 2), along with the previous version (version 1), are working drafts and subject to revision prior to consent being obtained from the Secretary of State under Section 16(5) of the Building Safety Act 2022.

Local authorities and fire and rescue authorities will work with BSR in MDTs to fulfil their legal duties to assist in the regulation of higher-risk buildings and higher-risk building work.
