The DWP/HSE Framework Document sets out the broad framework within which HSE shall operate and the respective roles and responsibilities of DWP, HSE’s sponsoring department, and HSE. The Board Operating Framework sets out the HSE Board’s role and responsibilities and the way in which it conducts its business. The Audit and Risk Assurance Committee’s Terms of Reference sets out the Committee’s roles and responsibilities in supporting the Board to meet its obligations to ensure HSE has an effective framework of governance, risk management and internal control.
