Improving waste management

Fenced off areas can be provided for the storage of waste bins and rubbish. This improves both the pedestrian's view of the oncoming traffic and the driver's view of people crossing the road.

Signs and markings can also be added to encourage people to keep the area free from rubbish. Management of the waste in areas where people and vehicles are working is important.
