RR85 - Reactor pressure relief of fluids containing suspended solids
Describes a project carried out to investigate the effects of the addition of inert suspended solids (fine glass particles) to both reacting (water and acetic anhydride) and non reacting (pure water or water/glycerol) systems. Depressurisation profiles from experiments with solids were compared to analogous profiles from experiments without solids.
