It sets out how appointed doctors should conduct medical surveillance on compressed-air workers.
This revised version has been updated to reflect the current evidence base and
expert opinion. It includes a new section explaining how appointed doctors should use the guidance and a number of sections have been updated including ones on:
- obesity
- the musculoskeletal system – dysbaric osteonecrosis
- the endocrine system – diabetes
- exercise testing
