This guidance is aimed at employers. It will help you to protect workers from health risks arising from poultry dust.

People working in poultry houses breathe in a host of different airborne particles, which collectively are referred to as poultry dust.

This guidance has been produced in partnership with the poultry industry to help you identify the risks and appropriate control measures.

It was previously published as Web39 Controlling exposure to poultry dust: An occupational hygiene standard of good working practice for poultry farmers.
