Gas Safety Week - 19-25 September 2016

Gas Safety Week aims to raise awareness of gas safety and reminds us to have our gas appliances safety checked annually by a qualified Gas Safe registered engineer.

We know gas safety is important all year round, but the value of Gas Safety Week lies in getting many people involved - strength in numbers! By focusing all of our communications in one week, we are more likely to generate media interest and have a greater impact. Over 3,000 supporters have already signed up to this year's Gas Safety Week.

One simple way to get involved is to join the Gas Safety Week Thunderclap, and a pre-written message of support will be automatically sent from your Facebook, Twitter or Tumblr account at the start of Gas Safety Week – let's get #GSW16 trending!

Don't forget to pledge your support online[1], and we will email you a free digital toolkit in the next few weeks, to help you promote gas safety – including social media updates, web banners, images, articles, a press release kit and more.

If you're looking for inspiration on how you can go the extra mile, why not visit GasSafetyWeek.co.uk[2] to see what others did in 2015 to support the week.
