HSE and construction

The HSE is organised into a number of directorates. The Field Operations Directorate (FOD) is the main operational part of HSE and includes the Construction Division.

The Construction Division includes:

Technology Unit
Policy Unit

The Construction Division was created in April 2002 to enable us to better focus our activities on achieving our ultimate objective - a significant reduction in accidents and the causes of ill health within the construction industry.
