This case study is provided by Aviance on health assistance for employees. The company offers immediate access to assessment and treatment for musculoskeletal injuries supported by physiotherapists.

Improved maintenance steps

This case study is provided by Virgin Atlantic on aircraft maintenance steps. The company identified that a number of accidents happened when using maintenance steps. By working with a manufacturer they have greatly improved the design and safety features.

Motorised tugs reduce manual handling of aircraft step

This case study is provided by Liverpool John Lennon Airport who adapted a motorised electric tug to assist in moving aircraft steps.

Turnround plan

This case study is provided by Air Canada on aircraft turnround.  Significant reductions in the number of accidents during turnround have been made as a result of implementing this plan.
